ANON. How come so many people park their cars on the road facing the incorrect way these days. I remember when you used to get a fine. If you still do, it would be a good idea to start at Philp Ave.

DJC. Why don't we have Clean Up Australia Day every March and September? More recycled is a better economy.

MICK @ KOONGAL. $155 million debt and we have only paid off $6 million since we split with Livingstone? Imagine the interest bill we are stuck with. Mighty glad Margaret and this council are not running my household budget. Q: How are we possibly affording all these silver bells and golden whistles with a massive debt situation like that?

JACK @ NORMAN GARDENS. Congratulations to Mayor Strelow and all levels of govt for the magnificent new riverbank and Quay St. This and the new Kershaw Gardens complex will be great for families and the overall aesthetics of our city.

PAUL HOOLIHAN, YEPPOON. No wonder JD used an alias for their SMS on Tuesday. …
