THERE'S plenty of activities and events to keep hinterland residents and visitors busy in the coming weeks.

Outdoors expo

THE South Queensland Caravan, Camping, Fishing and 4x4 Expo is on from Friday, April 20, to Sunday, April 22, at Nambour Showgrounds.

One of the region's largest shows, the event will showcase the latest in caravans, camper trailers, vehicles, motor homes, four-wheel-drive accessories, camping gear and outdoor accessories.

Attendees will be able to meet with business dealers and see new products and discuss the products before buying.

Entry prices are: adults $12, Seniors Card holders $10, children under 16 free when accompanied by an adult. Free return passes are available.

Noosa Vegan Festival

THE Noosa Vegan Festival is on April 21 from 10am-4pm at The J, Noosa.

This festival will showcase diversity of vegan lifestyles through stalls, guest speakers and food to try. There will be an emphasis on companies that are plant-based in our local region.

Music, entertainment and kids' activities also are on the program. Pre-purchased tickets are available at www.noosaveganfestival.com.au

Sunshine Coast Treasure Hunt

THE Sunshine Coast Treasure Hunt kicks off on April 21 and runs through to May 7, supporting the Leukaemia Foundation.

A total of $5 from every ticket will go towards supporting the foundation.

This treasure hunt is not just for youngsters but the big kids, too. Ask friends and family to join the fun and follow a series of clues to win $2500 cash.

The clues will lead you around areas of the Coast including hinterland locations.

The more people in your team, the more chance you have of figuring out the clues.
