Limited-Edition Colorado with Muscle

Article excerpt

Extra muscle has been applied to the beefy Holden Colorado dual-cab.

Called the LSX and priced from $44,990 drive-away (the auto adds $2200), the Colorado LSX comes with black-coloured additions, including 18-inch alloys, fender flares and grille.

The LSX is based on the LS derivative.

Adding to Colorado's list of features, including a 3.5-tonne towing capacity, impressive payload and "shift-on-the-fly" four-wheel drive, LSX gains black-out-inspired styling. LSX adds 18-inch black alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, black fender flares, soft tonneau, matte black extended sports bar with Colorado branded plate inserts and tailgate decal, as well as a black grille.

Cab chassis models come with a genuine Holden heavy-duty aluminium tray.

There is a limited run of 800 Crew Cab Pickups and 200 Crew Cab Chassis vehicles.

"We know a lot of our Colorado customers want to make their truck stand out from the crowd and accessories are a great way to do that," Holden marketing executive director Mark Harland said.

"Colorado LSX combines some of our most striking accessories - inspired by the 2016 Colorado Xtreme concept car - while maintaining exceptional customer value."

All Colorado LSX models bought before April 30 will be eligible for a five-year warranty and five-year roadside assist.

An easy-to-navigate colour touch screen sits atop a well laid-out central control unit, while steering wheel controls and excellent smartphone integration means you can control music, navigation, calls and texts without taking your hands off the wheel. …
