WHETHER you're looking to make simple changes in style or are renovating from top to bottom, there are some easy steps you can take to ensure you reduce your footprint.

Start with a plan

Try to reuse, recycle and upcycle as many things as possible. Sure, it's nice to have new items but throwing everything out is detrimental to the environment and your wallet.
