Living Life a Natural Way; Cancer Survivor Takes Skincare Products Back to Basics

WHEN GIULIA Bonfanti was growing up, her mother would stop by the road to pick up weeds to be used as natural medicine.

But when Ms Bonfanti battled her own health scare as an adult, it reignited a love of natural remedies that has grown into her own successful business venture.

About 20 years ago, Ms Bonfanti had just moved to Western Australia to start a new life with her children when she felt a hard lump in her breast.

It was like a little, hard rock, so she knew immediately she was unwell.

Within two weeks, she moved back to Queensland and went under the knife to remove the breast cancer that changed the course of her life.

"I didn't drink much, I didn't smoke, I didn't eat meat," she said.

"It's like you're in another world and I was on my own thinking, 'Why did this happen'?"

Having used essential oils previously to treat chronic fatigue syndrome, she again took her consumption back to basics and used organic food and products wherever possible. …
