Bait Bites into Dog Problem Fighting Back against Dogs; Bait Program Lessens Impact for Farmers

DESPERATE Southern Downs landholders under siege from the wild dogs who are destroying their livelihoods and mental fortitude are throwing their weight behind the latest council push to rid the region of the invasive pests.

Southern Downs Regional Council has partnered with Toowoomba and Goondiwindi Regional Councils for the latest round of its aerial baiting program across more than 700,000ha of mostly rough, inaccessible country of the three local government areas.
