NEWCASTLE creative agency Orange Bus is helping streamline the running of a Formula One racing team by building an interactive app.

Sahara Force India brought in Orange Bus to help the team engage with its worldwide fan base, and has tasked the firm with creating an app that will help improve the team's management.

The app will help manage the day-to-day logistics of the Sahara Force India team, while also providing fans with a greater insight into the team's planning. By logging in to the app, fans will be able to see the driver's schedules and gain access to exclusive content.

Alex Cardnell, marketing director at Orange Bus, said: "Sahara Force India is leading the curve in closing the gap between the sport and the fans, and we are working hard with the team to develop greater interaction.

"To that end, technology can play a big part in removing the stigma that has developed around the accessibility of Formula One, bringing fans closer to the sport. From insights into team logistics through to race analysis, we are looking at a multitude of ways of creating a better experience for everyone. …
