Thriving in the Downs; Regional Stores Out- Doing Cities

WARWICK health food store Go Vita is leading the way for the franchise's 150 stores.

In its first month of opening, the store was visited by the company's chief executive officer Terry Hughes.

The Go Vita company has identified a trend in its business market and the CEO said regional locations were outperforming city stores.

"We have found regional areas do really well and report high customer satisfaction," Mr Hughes said.

The CEO said the store has generated interest and would be a footprint for future businesses.

"This is first-class execution, the modern layout is a clear picture of what we want our stores to look like," he said.

Mr Hughes said the franchise prides itself on being outside the "cookie cutter" business model.

"Each one of our stores is a pioneer and has the freedom to shape itself to its own demographic," he said.

Co-owners Linda Demy- gero and John Bylicki said customer demand lead them to open a second store. …
