THE COAST is home to a diverse range of innovative businesses helping put the region on the global map.

From agri-business and food and beverage production to expertise and services, companies in the region are being sought after for their goods they can offer at a global scale.

Here are a list of some of the most leading-edge local businesses that have their eyes on international markets or are already exporting;

1. Buderim Ginger

Buderim Ginger has been operating on the Coast for 75 years, delivering a range of products to a domestic and international market.

Chief executive Andrew Bond said the company was focused on three core strategies -- ginger, macadamias and tourism -- with The Ginger Factory at Yandina proving to be a popular visitor destination.

2. Jacob's Well

Delivering clean, fresh water to the world is the motivation behind Jamie Skrepetis's Noosa-based company.

Mr Skrepetis started Jacob's Well after realising the potential for farming water on his property. He said while the business was still in a fledgling stage, he knew it could have potential on a global scale.

3. Boneafide Broth Co.

A first-of-its-kind health product is being created by two innovative Coast entrepreneurs.

Sharlene Kelly and Richard Boyd are the co-founders of Boneafide Broth Co, an all-natural bone broth.

4. Soak Society

Natalie Thorogood has tapped into the Asian market with her all-natural, organic bath salts range.

Based in Coolum, Ms Thorogood began Soak Society four years ago and said her business had really taken off since exporting overseas.

5. Bullivants Natural Health Products

After developing a range of natural health products, proprietor Lydia Bullivant is now hoping to launch them to a domestic and global market.

Ms Bullivant, who created Bullivants Natural Health Products on the Coast, has her sights set on the Asian market due to its demand for all-natural products. …
