Following is a list of arrests and crimes reported by area police departments.


A 42-year-old man reported to police that his black, two-door 1990 Honda was stolen Wednesday from the 1400 block of North First Street. Total estimated loss: $4,000.

Police arrested a 34-year-old transient Wednesday in the 200 block of South Seventh Street on charges of drinking in public, crack possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 19-year-old South Fourth Street man was arrested Monday in the 1300 block of 13th Avenue South after he pulled a motorist from his car and stabbed him with a knife, police said. The 19-year-old was charged with aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit battery.


Police arrested a motorist and two passengers in the 500 block of Mayport Road April 23 after a routine license plate check showed that the 26-year-old female driver had a suspended license. A 28-year-old Jacksonville man, one of her passengers, was charged with marijuana possession and also had an open warrant for an aggravated assault charge. …
