Following are crimes and other incidents reported recently on the Westside to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

A man who went into The Pantry at 1103 Murray Drive to buy a cigar at 10:20 a.m. Sunday pulled a gun on the clerk and emptied the cash register of an undisclosed amount of money, according to a police report.

The clerk told police that when he rang up the sale and opened the cash register, the robber, a man about 25, pushed him aside and emptied the register. The clerk was told by the robber to get down on the floor. A man who entered the store as the robber was leaving told police he saw him get on a darkcolored mountain-type bicycle and pedal east on Kingsbury Street.

Then she saw the rear door's window had been broken out. She went to a neighbor's home and called police. So far, she is missing only a gold and diamond necklace. …
