CAN I get my money back from the supposed Middlesbrough Football Club under the Trade Descriptions Act? Since September 22, Boro have played 10 games at home winning only twice - against sides at the bottom of the league (Ipswich and Wigan) - and they have failed to score in five games, even though they were playing teams near the bottom of the league. They have drawn five and lost three games in that period. They have only scored seven goals, conceding nine.

Of those seven goals three have been penalties and one own goal. That is three goals from open play in 10 games.

The manager has been clutching at straws in his post match conferences and he sends out defensive teams at home against bottom of the league sides and pays the price.

I have never heard so many people at the match - and walking away from the stadium - saying they are not renewing their season tickets to watch such boring football from this manager and his team.

Van La Parra looked very useful when he came on, but why not attack from the start. Now Pulis says we have to be careful with him in case he injures himself getting fit. Why do we sign players who are not fit, he said the same about Hugill.

I thought during the transfer window that we would be fetching in additional persons identified to make MFC push for promotion and guess what, not one striker. For this club to move forward we need backroom staff to go and get the players required not just make enquiries.

Steve Gibson needs to wake up if he wants to get MFC back into the Premiership.

The general talk on the concourse is that supporters of not renewing season tickets, and I will be one of them as I like to enjoy a game of decent football and MFC just aren't doing this. …
