JONES A 'CUDA AGAIN

Roy Jones Jr., coming off his fourth-round knockout of

Virgil Hill on Saturday, will be in town today to resume his

basketball career with the Jacksonville Barracudas of the

United States Basketball League. Jones joins an athletic squad

that will tip off its season tomorrow against visiting Raleigh

at 7:30 p.m. "This is the best talent I've had since our first

year, when I had four players go to the NBA," coach Rex Morgan

said. All of Jacksonville's home games this season will be

played at Sandalwood High School.

2 TIED IN LPGA EVENT

Dawn Coe-Jones and Pat Hurst both shot 7-underpar 65s to

share the lead at the LPGA Mercury Titleholders Championship

in Daytona Beach. See story, Page C7.

A NEW PERSPECTIVE

Green Bay Packers safety LeRoy Butler will put aside his

offseason training program this weekend to devote time to

another sports passion: basketball. He will coach a 13-and-under

boys team in a tournament to benefit the LeRoy Butler
