New Consumer Panel Adds 3 Men to the Recipe

Article excerpt

We asked for male volunteers to serve on the Times-Union

Consumer Panel and received so many, we've chosen three for our

new panel. That's a first!

fruits and vegetables company. He would like to see "more per

capita consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables" because

have a grown son and daughter. Their cat -- and sometimes their

daughter's dog, Thunder, whom Kaler jokingly calls their granddog

-- keeps them company.

Cooking -- of all kinds -- and fishing top Kaler's list of

hobbies. He also enjoys spectator sports and reading; he usually

reaches for a good novel or the sports page.

"I love people," said Lenora Kling. She deals with them

every day in her job as merchandiser assistant in the men's

department at JCPenney, a company for which she has worked for 25

years. …
