Seventeen Magazine is accepting entries for its second annual

Mad About Milk photo contest. Participants should send in a

picture of themselves sporting a milk mustache and a creative

caption. The contest winner will be flown to New York City for a

Seventeen magazine photo shoot and then appear as a milk

mustache model in a future issue of the magazine as well as

receive $1,000 and a Seventeen T-shirt. Ten runners-up will

receive $100 and a Seventeen T-shirt. The deadline for the

contest is March 2. Entries must be accompanied by a proof of

purchase of fluid milk and sent to: Mad About Milk Contest,

Seventeen, Marketing Department, Room #56, 850 Third Ave., New

York, NY 10022. Winners will be notified by May 1.

All junior and senior high schools nationwide can win $10,000

toward a computer system just by drinking more milk.

The student bodies that participate will have one month to

increase their in-school milk consumption by at least 10

percent. The school with the greatest percentage increase will

win the $10,000 grand prize.

The competition is divided into two categories. One is for

schools with more than 1,100 students. The other is for schools

with less than 1,100 students.

Ten first-prize schools in each category will receive $1,000

toward a computer system. And 25 second-prize schools within

each category will receive $300 toward computer software. Every

school that increases its milk consumption by at least 10

percent will win a computer magazine subscription.

The contest also offers special incentives to cheerleading

squads from each school that participate. To enter the contest

The deadline to enter is Feb. 15.
