The Parker Braves volleyball team, fresh off the finals of the

District 3-5A volleyball tournament, lost to Middleburg 15-6,

15-1.

With the score knotted at five in the first game, Middleburg

ran off nine consecutive points to put the game out of reach.

The Braves finished the season 23-8.

A WINNING STREAK CONTINUES -- Sandalwood is on a roll. With

Friday night's 24-14 win over Orange Park, the Saints are 4-5

and riding a three-game winning streak. Sandalwood ran for 278

yards, 132 of them by freshman Julio Santiago. Sophomore running

back Ronnie Powell ran for 82 yards on 20 carries.

RAMS BUCK THE CRUSADERS -- Englewood's Ecaroh Willis ran for

103 yards and a touchdown as the Rams defeated Bishop Kenny

18-3, giving them a 4-5 record this season. Kevin Johnson passed

for 160 yards and Englewood's offense gained 13 first downs on

the night.

A LOAD OFF THEIR CHESTS -- Break out the bubbly, the Wolfpack

finally won a football game. …
