Bowlers in the Jax Classic League at Jax Lanes Grove Park saw

perfection, perfection, perfection Monday night during league

play. Each perfect game in league play saw different bowlers, on

different teams, roll a perfect game.

Jim Graham got things started in the first game when he rolled

the 12th perfect game of his career and the sixth in the past

six months. He got a break in the ninth frame when the six pin

tripped out on his way to the 300 game.

The sharp-shooting left-hander also had games of 220 and 217 for

a 737 series.

Dale Gunter put on a show during the second game when he

flushed the pocket with all 12 shots for his third perfect game.

Ironically, two of the perfect games have been in the past two

months for the right-hander. He rolled his second 300 game back

in January in the same league.

Barry Gallaher notched his fifth perfect game during the final

game of league competition. He had games of 180 and 203 before

changing equipment for the final game and had a 683 series on

the night.

Tommy Cook provided the excitement at Cassat Lanes last weekend

in the Saturday Night Dodgers League when he rolled his first

perfect game.

The righthander also rolled games of 248 and 199 for a 757

series, which was also his first 700 series of his career. Cook

quit bowling for 14 years and returned in May. He is bowling in

two leagues and carrying a 195 average. The week before, Cook

when he rolled a 295 game in the same league.

COACHES MEMORIAL RESULTS-- The 1997 Coaches Memorial Tournament

was held Sunday at Cassat Lanes. The tournament honors past

coaches of the Local Young American Bowling Alliance. This year

the tournament honored the late James Burroughs.

Thy overall winner came from boys Division 5 as Justin Panzino

from Cassat Lanes posted a top score of 893 from the 66 entries

in the tournament.

In Division l, the top bowlers were Wyleen Abao from Jax Lanes

West with a score of 680, while Cody Skinner from Bowl America

Mandarin topped the boys with a 764 series. …
