Following are crimes and other incidents reported recently in

Arlington to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

ROBBERY:

A 15-year-old reported to police that he was thrown on the

ground and robbed about 10:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 700 block of

Oaksfield Road. According to a police report, the boy said he

was on his back patio trying to find out what a stray dog was

barking at when the robbery occurred. The boy lost a wallet with

an unknown amount of cash.

BURGLARY:

Someone stole more than $200 that was placed inside a Bible at

an apartment in the 7700 block of India Avenue. According to a

police report, someone broke into the apartment between 8 p.m.

Feb. 19 and 4:30 p.m. the next day. Police said there were no

signs of forced entry. The Bible was in a dresser drawer.

Someone stole two sets of car keys from a home in the 5900

block of Fort Caroline Road about 8 a.m. Thursday. According to

a police report, a resident was sleeping in the home at the

time. …
