The Jekyll Island Club Hotel will host Pauline Faneuf, also

known as the "Fairytaler," during two special programs for

children at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Faneuf, a professional actress since she was 6 years old,

dresses in a glamourous gown and glitter, wearing a crown,

jewels and veils to tell stories to children.

A member of the American Federation of Radio and Television

Artists, she has performed a variety of roles including the

neighborhood lady in the The Family Channel's Big Brother Jake

, to the mysterious mother, Gertrude Cayce, in Unsolved

Mysteries . As a storyteller, she has performed at the Helen

Hayes Gallery at the National Theatre in Washington.

Seen any right whales this year? An environmental group is

keeping track.

A whale monitoring program is recruiting volunteers to watch

for the wintering whales from boats, beaches and tall buildings.
