A Hobie 33 with a "tape" name took first place in last

weekend's Florida Yacht Club, but there was a different name at

the helm.

Steve Suddath and his 33, Duct Tape, is often at the top of the

first-in-fleet list, but this time it was Randy Wallace on his

"new" Hobie, Scotch Tape. Suddath didn't compete in the St.

Johns River race, which had been postponed from June.

Wallace covered the 7.2nautical mile race in 1 hour, 6 seconds,

while Greg Johnson on Mumm 30 LitiGator was second in fleet and

PHRF "A" in 1:00:41.

Other class winners were Rich Bukowski on S-2 7.9 I're in

1:02:47 in PHRF "B" (Nonspinnaker) and Charlie Johns on Catalina

36 Liberty Call in 1:10:21 in OPC.
