Robbers Hit Cleaners Second Time

Article excerpt

At 74, she's a great-grandmother who still has to earn a living.

But after two robberies in four months, she's scared to show up

for work.

"And angry," said the woman, who works at Band Box Cleaners, 45

Arlington Road. She didn't want to give her name, for fear

robbers might track her down at home.

About 10:15 a.m. yesterday, two men, one with a gun, robbed the

store. Police weren't sure how much money the robbers took.

"It just happened so fast," she said.

The store was last robbed Jan. 2. Larry Morris, 30, of the 6000

block of Mayapple Drive, has been arrested and faces charges

stemming from that and several other robberies.

"What are you going to do?" asked the woman, who was

entertaining her two greatgrandchildren yesterday afternoon. "I

have to work. And it [robbery] can happen somewhere else."
