monthly victims' newspaper? -- A victim.

Dear Reader: The newspaper is the First Coast Victims' Advocate.

It's published by the Justice Coalition.

organizations, founded by Ted Hires Sr., a Jacksonville

businessman and victim of crime. The group serves as a

clearinghouse for information on victims' groups and victims'

rights.

"There's strength in numbers," said spokesman John McCulloch.

"Mothers Against Drunk Drivers taught us that."

The First Coast Victims' Advocate is available for free at 600

stores throughout Jacksonville, including convenience stores,

restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores.

If you want a subscription, the cost is $15 for 12 issues. Send

your check or money order to First Coast Victims' Advocate,
