American Heritage Making Plans for Another Building

Article excerpt

American Heritage Life Insurance Co. is a step closer to construction of a major office expansion that will add another five-story building to its Southside campus.

The company, recently bought by Allstate Corp., is making plans for an expansion that would exceed 50,000 square feet, according to plans filed with the city Concurrency Management System Office and the St. Johns River Water Management District.

At the same time, Allstate Life Chairman Louis Lower hinted at adding a building the size of the main offices, based on demand. …
