Following are crimes and other incidents reported recently on

the Northside to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

ROBBERY:

A 28-year-old man told police four men jumped out of a car, and

one of them pointed a rifle in his face and stole an

undetermined amount of money from him while he was walking in

the 1300 block of Powhattan Street at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.

A 36-year-old man told police four men jumped off their

bicycles and beat him after he refused to give them a quarter

while he was walking in the 1300 block of Lee Street at 6 p.m.

Tuesday.. After the beating, the robbers stole an undermined

amount of money and fled.

A 24-year-old man told police two men approached him and

demanded his money while he was walking on 23rd and Pearl

streets 1:10 a.m. Wednesday. The man gave the robbers an

undetermined amount of money and then they fled.

BURGLARY:

A 32-year-old woman who lives in the 1600 block of West 23rd

Street told police someone broke into her home through the back

window and stole a videocassette recorder, a game deck and game

cartridges between 7:30 and 11:30 a. …
