IN Division One, new league leaders Swalwell beat visiting Alnmouth & Lesbury - and the rain - to claim victory by five wickets. The visitors could only muster 74 all out, as Stephen Smith claimed 3-11.

There were two wickets apiece for Guy Saxton and Nick Phillips. After a wobbly start, John Meadows with 24 from 52 balls, secured the win, finishing on 75-5. Morpeth are second after victory against Newcastle City by five wickets in a low-scoring match. City were just 68 all out, as Elliott Clark, David Rutherford, and Paul Elliott each claimed three wickets. In reply, the visitors were up against Zohaib Khan, who claimed 5-18, but Callum Lawn scored 19 to see his side home, finishing on 69-5. Percy Main hosted Lanchester and had the visitors 0-2 and 38-5, as Sameer Haque took 3-41 and Will Taylor 3-20, but 44 not out from Callum Barnes, from 106 balls, eased them up to 121 all out. The visitors struck back early, as Kieran Gohery (3-21) reduced the home side to 33-4, but the rain came as they were on 67-5, and the match was abandoned.

Consett travelled to Ryton and asked the home side to bat first. They collapsed to 28-6, as Callan McCabe took a magnificent 7-21 off 10.1 overs, alongside Mark Dixon's 3-10, as they were skittled out for just 58 runs. The visitors took just 12.3 overs to score the required runs, finishing on 60-1. Tynedale entertained Lintz and the visitors made a positive start, as openers Johnny Forster (34) and Paul Lindsay (24), put on 55 runs for the first wicket. However, David Newton claimed 5-52 in a good bowling spell alongside Thomas Cant (3-41) to reduce them to 111-6 and eventually all out for 141. The home side were 13-0, when the match was abandoned due to rain.
