SEX predator John Worboys, known as the black cab rapist, today admitted drugging four more women he picked up in his taxi.

The 62-year-old former stripper has been in prison for the past decade after he was convicted of a series of sex attacks on female passengers between 2000 and 2008. At the Old Bailey this morning Worboys pleaded guilty to preying on four others, slipping drugs into their drinks so that he could rape and sexually assault them.

Today's guilty pleas bring the total number of attacks he has admitted to 16, but police fear more than 100 women may have victims as he prowled London in his cab for years.

Worboys had been set for release last year but a Parole Board decision was exposed as flawed in a landmark legal challenge by two of his victims. He is serving an indeterminate sentence and, after admitting the new offences, is likely to face another lengthy jail term when he is sentenced on September 2. Prosecutor Jonathan Polnay said at an earlier hearing that Worboys told the four new victims he had "won money" and gave them champagne to help him celebrate. One of the women was picked up after leaving a wine bar in central London and was then handed a drink laced with drugs.

"He told her he had won on the horses and was celebrating. He also claimed he had been a stripper with the Chippendales", said Mr Polnay. "He offered her champagne and invited her to celebrate with him, she agreed, and he pulled over into a side road off the A40."

Worboys "offered her a drink in a plastic cup, she drank it, and it was the last memory she has of the evening."

She revealed to police that she woke up naked in her bed with a trail of clothes behind her, and had no idea how she had got there or what happened to her. Worboys today admitted three further attacks which were almost iden-tical, committed between 2000 and 2001, in 2003, in August 2007, and between July 2007 and December 2008. …
