Five Orange Park area teenagers were arrested Wednesday in connection with a May 6 fight that could be gang-related, said a Clay County Sheriff's Office report.

Charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon were David Keith Helton, 17, of the 400 block of Taylor Road; Scott J. Henshaw, 16, of the 300 block of Wildwood Lane; Richard Fredrick Schoenbeck, 16, of the 2800 block of Kiowa Avenue; Randy Lamar Wilson, 17, of the 1200 block of Cutlass Road; and Jamie Luis Ventura, 16, of a different address in the 1200 block of Cutlass Road.

They are likely to be prosecuted as adults, said Mary Justino, spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Office.

Police were called to the 4000 block of Gay Road about 11 p.m. to break up a "large fight" that began when the four teenagers jumped out of Schoenbeck's truck and began attacking Chris Burgess, 18, of the 3300 block of Peoria Road, the report said.

Investigators later determined that the fight stemmed from an earlier altercation between Schoenbeck and Burgess about Schoenbeck's truck tires being cut, the report said. Wilson told police after he was arrested that he belong to the Cripps street gang and that "they look out for their brothers," the report said.

A search of the Schoenbeck truck turned up five blue bandanas associated with street gang activity, the report said.

Burgess was hospitalized, but his injuries were not life-threatening.
