The following are crimes and other incidents reported recently in Mandarin, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office:

-- An 18-year-old Mandarin man was arrested Tuesday on six charges of criminal mischief after police said his car mowed down that many mailboxes in the 13000 block of Mandarin Road. Police said officers responded to a call that several mailboxes had been run over about 3 a.m. Police said they cruised the neighborhood until they found a car speeding along Mandarin Point Road and pulled the driver over, then found lots of damage on the vehicle.

Burglary:

Fairfield Machine, 6894 Philips Parkway Drive. N. -- A water pump and a rowboat with holes in it were stolen between noon Aug. 26 and 8 a.m. Monday from the business.

11800 block of Lanier Creek Drive -- The walls of a home under construction were spray-painted between 9 p.m. Aug. 25 and 4 a.m. Monday when someone broke in.

11200 block of San Jose Boulevard -- An 18-year-old Southside man was arrested at 1:21 p. …
