The following are crimes and other incidents reported recently on the Southside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office:

AGGRAVATED BATTERY:

7700 Baymeadows Road --- A 20-year-old Westside man was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Sept. 13 on a charge of aggravated battery after police said he grabbed and pushed a pregnant woman while arguing in a car in front of their 7-month-old baby.

BURGLARY:

3100 block of Old Port Circle East -- A television, jewelry, money, a watch and a safe were stolen between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday after someone broke down the front door.

Norris Insurance, 10695 Beach Blvd. -- $600 was stolen between 6:10 p.m. Sept. 13 and 8 a.m. Thursday after someone broke in.

1700 block of Davidson Street -- Nine rings, 14 gold chains, five pendants, a cellular telephone and other items valued together at $3,200 were stolen between 8:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. Thursday, after someone broke in.
