A limited number of free tickets are still available for President Clinton's visit to Jacksonville tomorrow for a campaign rally with U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown.

Brown, a Democrat facing a challenge from Republican Jennifer Carroll, and Duval County Democrats hope to distribute 6,000 tickets for Clinton's appearance at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

They will be available today at two locations: Brown's campaign headquarters in the Gateway Shopping Center, 5238-13 Norwood Avenue; and the Duval County Democratic Party Headquarters, 3325 Plymouth St.

People can call 765-8683 or 389-9988 to ask about ticket availability and office hours.

Judy Allen, who picked up tickets for herself and her daughter yesterday, said Clinton's appearance will be a welcome break from the widespread television advertising for Republican nominee George Bush's presidential campaign.

"I just want to hear somebody besides Bush," she said, adding that she also wants to see Clinton in person because "he's got such charisma. …
