For Patrick Gearhart, golf is more than just a game.

It is a way to do business.

Gearhart, owner of Tee-It-Up Golf Promotions & Sales Inc. of Jacksonville, uses golf to help companies entertain clients.

Gearhart has set up two company golf events for Compuware at Windsor Parke Golf Club and the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Gearhart's company does golf events for celebrities and professional athletes, including Jacksonville Jaguars player Kevin Hardy, who hosted an event to entertain other athletes. …
