DISTRICT 2-6A

-- Site: Mandarin.

-- Seeding: 1. Mandarin; 2. Orange Park; 3. Sandalwood.

-- Schedule: Tuesday -- Orange Park vs. Sandalwood, 7 p.m.; Thursday -- Orange Park/Sandalwood winner vs. Mandarin (championship), 7 p.m.

-- Outlook: The Mustangs will make the playoffs win or lose because the bye they earned gives them an automatic berth in the championship game. Sandalwood had a disappointing season, but the Saints can make the playoffs by beating Orange Park.

-- Prediction: Mandarin champion; Sandalwood runner-up.

DISTRICT 3-5A

-- Site: Parker.

-- Seeding: 1. Parker; 2. Wolfson; 3. Lake City Columbia; 4. Nease; 5. White; 6. Fletcher.

-- Schedule: Tuesday -- Nease vs. White, 4:30 p.m.; Columbia vs. Fletcher, 7:30 p.m.; Thursday -- Wolfson vs Columbia/Fletcher winner, 4:30 p.m.; Parker vs. Nease/White winner, 7:30 p.m; Friday -- Championship, 7:30 p.m.

-- Outlook: Look out for Columbia in this district. The Tigers had a strong season and are capable of an upset. Pitching wins tournaments, however, and the top two pitching staffs in this district are Parker and Wolfson.

-- Prediction: Parker champion; Wolfson runner-up.

DISTRICT 3-4A

-- Site: First Coast.

-- Seeding: 1. Fernandina Beach; 2. First Coast; 3. Live Oak Suwannee; 4. Stanton Prep; 5. Forrest; 6. Raines.

-- Schedule: Tomorrow -- Suwannee vs. Raines, 4:30 p.m.; Stanton vs. Forrest, 7 p.m.; Tuesday -- Suwannee/Raines winner vs. First Coast, 4:30 p.m.; Stanton/Forrest winner vs. Fernandina, 7 p.m.; Thursday -- Championship, 7 p.m.

-- Outlook: The Bulldogs have a strong 1-2 pitching punch in Hunter Abercrombie and Phillip Hurst. That should be enough to carry Suwannee, but Fernandina is always dangerous and will have a much shorter bus ride to First Coast than Suwannee. The Pirates come off a big win over Parker and won a three-way tiebreaker for the top seed.

-- Prediction: Suwannee champion; Fernandina Beach runner-up.

DISTRICT 4-4A

-- Site: Middleburg.

-- Seeding: 1. Bishop Kenny; 2. Ridgeview; 3. Englewood; 4. Clay; 5. St. Augustine; 6. Middleburg.

-- Schedule: Tomorrow -- Clay vs. St. Augustine, 4 p.m., Englewood vs. Middleburg, 7 p.m.; Tuesday -- Bishop Kenny vs. Clay/St. Augustine winner, 4 p.m.; Ridgeview vs. Englewood/Middleburg winner, 7 p.m.; Thursday -- Championship, 7 p.m.

-- Outlook: Bishop Kenny is the clear favorite, and every other team in the district has shown the capability of reaching the championship game. Ridgeview won a close race for the second bye in the tournament, which means the Panthers and BK get a free pass to the semifinals.

-- Prediction: Bishop Kenny champion; Englewood runner-up.

DISTRICT 3-3A
