Big Brothers's New Stars Take Their Bow

THESE are the first pictures of the 10 new contestants in the next Big Brother show.

They entered the house in Bow, east London, this morning where the "reality TV" show will be filmed. It will be their home for the next nine weeks when the show begins on Channel 4 tomorrow.

They include Amma, 23, a table dancer from London; Brian, 22, an air steward from Hertfordshire; Helen, 22, a hairdresser and dance teacher from Gwent; Narinda, 28, a medical rep from Leicester; Paul, 25, a designer for Ford from Reading, and Bubble, 24, a warehouse worker from Surrey.

For up to 21 hours a day E4, Channel 4's digital entertainment channel, will carry live footage from the Big Brother house.

The rules will be as strict as the first series - the housemates, who were chosen from 50,000 applicants, will live in the purpose-built house, cut off from any contact with the outside world. For the whole time, 37 cameras will watch their every move and 40 microphones will record everything they say. …
