Jags RB Arrested in Sting Police: Mack Solicited Undercover Cop for Sex

Stacey Mack faces an even more uncertain future with the Jaguars after the reserve running back was arrested for soliciting an undercover police officer.

Police said Mack, 26, offered $15 for oral sex during a day-long prostitution sting in the 4200 block of Philips Highway. He was arrested at 5 p.m. Tuesday and released almost four hours later on $1,500 bond.

"It was very short and to the point," Sgt. John Britt said of the transaction. "Basically, he used street slang for oral sex."

Britt said Mack, who is single and lives in Orlando, was alone and cooperated with police.

"He was more concerned about [Jaguars] coach [Tom] Coughlin than anything else," Britt said.

The Jaguars declined comment on the arrest yesterday, but Mack faces a possible fine or suspension by the NFL if convicted. Regardless of whether he is convicted, Mack must submit to a clinical evaluation by the league because his arrest falls under the NFL's personal conduct policy, league spokesman Dan Masonson said. …
