Car Alarm Scared Me, Says PC on Trial for Rape

THE POLICE officer accused of raping a young City worker on a sports car in a darkened alley told today how he was frightened when they set the car alarm off.

Pc Charles McIlvenna told the Old Bailey that his alleged victim had not only consented to sex but had demanded it.

He had agreed but when the car alarm went off he told her: "This is crazy get your jeans on we are going."

McIlvenna, 35, from Victoria, met the 24-year-old at the Roadhouse club near Covent Garden in September.

He told the jury today that outside the club she pulled him into a shop doorway and demanded sex but it was "quite in the public view ".

Instead they walked down the alley until they saw the blue Lotus sports car. "She turned around and leaned on the rear of the Lotus, on the slats, it is a cooling system for the engine, they are ridged and we had sexual intercourse, "he said. …
