Todd on Transfer List after Bust Up

ANDY TODD has been put on the transfer list after he was involved in a training ground bust-up with goalkeeper Dean Kiely.

Charlton manager Alan Curbishley and chairman Richard Murray made the decision at a meeting with the defender today.

He was dropped from the team which lost 1-0 at Aston Villa last night as a disciplinary measure but the bust-up, which left Kiely with a black eye, made his position at the Premiership club untenable.

It is the second time this season Todd, 27, has upset the club's management and with the defender's dad, Derby manager Colin, reportedly interested in buying him, Curbishley has decided it is the right time to sell.

Todd fell out with the Charlton manager two months ago and made a written transfer request after he was dropped from the squad who went to Ipswich and won 1-0.

The club refused him permission to leave then and encouraged him to try to re-establish himself in the team. …
