All of Georgia's 63 state parks and historic sites will offer 20 percent winter discounts as part of Gov. Ray Barnes' Georgia for Georgians initiative.

The discounts apply to cottages, camping, lodges, golf fees and admission to historic sites. parking fees at state parks are not included. The price cuts are intended to boost tourism in the state while providing getaways for families affected by the economy and recent events.

Discounts may not apply on weekends at some sites and there are some blackout periods.
