Kuhn Flowers has five locations: Beach Boulevard, Baymeadows Road, San Juan Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach and North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine. A sixth location on Monument Road closed. Because of a reporter's error, that store was reported as open in a story on Page E-7 Wednesday.

A venerable floral chain with six locations returns to local ownership after 17 years.

Kuhn Flowers, a 54-year-old Jacksonville institution, was bought from Fort Lauderdale-based Gerald Stevens Inc., its new owners, Bill Cutting and Harry Graham, announced yesterday.

"It's coming back home, and it's never going to go national again," said Graham's son, Andy, an operations manager at the chain. "This is a good thing for Jacksonville."

The whole event is a reunion and family affair of sorts. …
