CAN he fix it? No he certainly cannot! Bob the Builder's plans to fly in from the US for a highprofile photoshoot at Wembley came unstuck this weekend when the management of pop heavyweights Steps threw a spanner in the works, and banned the shoot from the venue.

The spat between the chart-toppers began when Bob and his entourage pulled up at Wembley Arena after having arranged with the venue's owners to spend the day taking publicity shots of him singing on stage and relaxing backstage in the run-up to his UK tour which has its grand finale there in the spring.

But minutes after sweeping into the car park Bob and his people were accosted by security guards who said that he couldn't get into the venue.

One security guard explained: "Steps have paid for the venue for their current tour. You haven't a chance in hell of taking any shots of Bob in the building - Steps' management are adamant about that. They were on the phone when they heard this was going on and their decision is final. …
