The Jaguars' search for an offensive coordinator is back where it started after their top choice rejected them late Friday night.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements declined the Jaguars' offer a day after it was made by coach Tom Coughlin, saying Jacksonville didn't feel like a good fit.

"I analyzed all the factors and decided not to go to Jacksonville," Clements said from Hawaii, where he coached the winning AFC squad in yesterday's Pro Bowl along with the rest of the Pittsburgh staff.

Clements, 48, is likely to remain with the Steelers. He also interviewed with the Buffalo Bills, who yesterday hired Kevin Gilbride as offensive coordinator.

As well as a financial package believed to be worth more than $200,000, the Jaguars and Coughlin were offering Clements near-total autonomy over an offense that sputtered to 20th in the league under Bob Petrino last season.
