AFTER a manic morning in the office, it can be pretty hard to drag yourself back for more of the same hell after lunch. But, for those working in the frantic West End, help is at hand from a super-fast and effective relaxation service at the new one hundred dean street treatment salon.

In addition to the usual facials, massages, manicures and hairstyling offered, workers can enjoy the relaxing, if a little bizarre, experience that is the Relax One Hundred.

This massage chair, below, with a difference was discovered by salon manager Martyn Gale on a trip to Switzerland and involves sound and a few minutes' privacy from the mania of London. It is claimed that a 20-minute stint in this baby is equivalent to a 45-minute catnap, perfect for a lunchtime recharge.

It worked for me.
