I've No Regrets about Affair That Caused Love Split, Says Dimmock

TV GARDENER Charlie Dimmock said today that she doesn't regret the affair that ruined her long-term relationship and that she is finding it difficult finding new love.
Eighteen months ago her partner of 13 years, John Mushet, found out about her affair with Ground Force sound technician Andy Simmonds and sold his story to a tabloid newspaper.
Dimmock, 36, said: "We've talked to each other a few times since we broke up. I don't see Andy any more, but I don't regret what happened. You wouldn't do anything if you kept worrying about what might go wrong.
"John and I had been together for a long time so when we split up I relied heavily on family and close friends. I've discovered that the most difficult after-effect of the break-up is getting into another relationship. I wouldn't go into a wine bar to look for a man, nor on a blind date. I could really meet someone only at a party given by a friend, so I could find out their history before getting involved," she told the Daily Mail. …
