YOUTH REVIVAL

Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist Church in Hilliard will begin its annual Youth Revival at 7 p.m. today. The event will run through Friday. For more information, call 845-3948.

BACCALAUREATE SERVICE

The Fernandina Beach Ministerial Alliance, led by President Rob Goyette, will have a baccalaureate service at 7 p.m. Friday in the Fernandina Beach Middle School auditorium.

Neil Helton, pastor of Amelia Baptist Church, will address Fernandina Beach High School's graduating Class of 2002.

BAPTIST DUAL DAY

Friendship Baptist Church's annual Dual Day festivities will begin with an 8 a.m. Saturday prayer breakfast and will continue with services at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Elease Lawrence, first lady of St. James Baptist Church in Sandhill, will speak in the morning during the women's service. There also will be a guest speaker for the men's afternoon program.

GLORYBOUND PLAYS

First Baptist Church, 416 Alachua St. in Fernandina Beach, will present the Southern gospel quartet Glorybound in a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Friends, family fete

The public is invited to a Friends and Family Celebration at Trinity United Methodist Church, South Eighth and Ash streets, during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service.

During the program, titled "Strangers Make Friends and Friends Make Family," participants can recognize or pay tribute to a friend or family member who has been an inspiration or blessing by singing a song, reading a poem, presenting an award or giving some other unique acknowledgement.

Local church congregations also can participate in the service.
