Serena Williams

Technically better than her older sister. Having beaten Venus in the French Open Final, she has now overcome the mental problem of beating her sister in a Grand Slam. It may be her turn to win Wimbledon. Serena's serve is beautiful, by far the best in the women's game. When it's firing, which it has been, it's almost unplayable. It's fantastic to watch her compete in the big matches. Whenever she's up against it you can guarantee it will be a great match.

She will be a crowd favourite.

Kim Clijsters

She has had a strange run of form recently. She has been injured and isn't playing with as much confidence as we are used to. She has a similar attitude on court to her boyfriend Lleyton Hewitt - a huge competitor and very feisty.

She has great ground strokes, a terrific serve and moves well. Provided she is fit she will be tough for anyone to beat. …
