Two Jacksonville men died after their vehicle collided with a light pole late Monday after fleeing police, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Drugs and more than $1,400 were found in the car after the crash, police said.

Twyman D. Clark, 29, of the 4000 block of Donnybrook Avenue, and passenger Jerry V. Lester, 22, of the 1600 block of West 27th Street, died after they were transported to Shands Jacksonville hospital following the 11:10 p.m. accident.

Leeper said a small amount of cocaine in small plastic packets was found near the car and that between $1,400 and $1,500 also was found.

Steven Robert Watson, 28, of the 8300 block of South Old Kings Road, was arrested Monday afternoon at a sandwich shop after getting off a bus, police said. He was charged with a felony for soliciting sex through an online computer service.

On Sept. 12, vice detective T.W. Herrington posed as a 13-year-old girl in an online service. …
