Bargain of the week

I have discovered a furniture warehouse in south-east London which sells practically perfect current-season furniture from a leading high-street retailer at a 40 per cent to 55 per cent discount. How?

Well the furniture is either ex-store display, a cancelled order or has been used in a photo shoot. And who is the retailer? Stairways to heaven

Good-quality spiral staircases can be hard to track down, but I have come across an out-of-town company that makes both wooden and cast-aluminium spirals and straight flights at reasonable prices.
