TAYLOR, SCOTT RETURN FROM INJURIES

Florida coach Ron Zook said yesterday morning that WR Taylor Jacobs and DT Ian Scott will play extensively against Florida State tomorrow. Both have been out with knee injuries.

"Everything's good with Taylor, he made it through the week fine," Zook said. "Ian is about 100 percent. I was watching tape [Wednesday] and I said, 'Why doesn't he have his brace on?' He had it on for half of practice and then half of practice he didn't have it on."

Jacobs has not played since suffering a sprained knee during the first quarter of the Georgia game. Scott underwent knee surgery late last month.

The status of TE Ben Troupe, however, isn't as clear. Zook said earlier this week that Troupe had a 50-50 chance of playing, but said yesterday that it doesn't look like Troupe will play.

"I'm going to dress him, but the fact that he hasn't practiced much [makes] it hard," Zook said. …
