Harris It Could Be All over for Bosnich

CHELSEA legend Ron 'Chopper' Harris believes Mark Bosnich's top-level career could be over if a significant ban is imposed.

The keeper faces disciplinary action from both Chelsea and the Football Association after a 'B' sample confirmed a positive test for cocaine.

The Australian has been suspended since a positive first test last month.

The second sample, understood to have been tested at the independent Olympic Committee-accredited lab in Paris, has now also come back positive, opening the way for Bosnich to be charged.

The FA have refused to confirm the findings of the second test but Standard Sport revealed yesterday that the result does show the presence of cocaine.

The 30-year-old, who has made only seven appearances for Chelsea despite being paid around pound sterling40,000 a week, could have his contract with the London club terminated on the grounds of serious misconduct.

Harris, a Blues legend of the 60s and 70s, said: "If he's found guilty, then his career has most probably come to an end as he would be banned worldwide for over a year. …
