GERARD Houllier said today he still harbours a grudge about the way his Liverpool team were deprived of victory at Highbury last month, writes Steve Stammers.

As the Merseysiders prepared for tonight's visit by Arsenal, boss Houllier claimed the champions had been "lucky" on several occasions this season in establishing a five-point lead at the top of the Premiership.

A late and controversial penalty by Thierry Henry earned Arsenal a point in the teams' 1-1 draw during the Christmas period.

Houllier accused Arsenal substitute Francis Jeffers of taking a dive to earn the spot-kick and claimed the former Everton striker admitted as much to his players after the game.

Houllier said: " What could have been a title decider was no longer a title decider.

He was also upset at John Arne Riise's booking for a foul on Jeffers, while Arsenal centre-back Sol Campbell escaped a yellow card for his tackle on Milan Baros wh i ch resulted in Liverpool's penalty. …
