Bring on Arsenal; Chelsea Manager Wants Chance of Revenge in FA Cup

CLAUDIO RANIERI wants revenge over Arsenal for last year's FA Cup Final defeat.

The Chelsea manager hopes the two London clubs can avoid each other in today's sixth-round draw so they can be put on a collision course for another meeting in May at the Millennium Stadium.

After Chelsea's deserved 2-0 victory over First Division side Stoke at the Britannia Stadium yesterday, Ranieri said of the draw: "Why not Arsenal?

Sooner or later we have to win against them. But I would like to meet them in the final.

"All I am looking for from the draw is a home match, like all the other managers."

However, some of his players don't share his view. Graeme Le Saux admits he would prefer not to play the Double winners, who are favourites for the FA Cup after their demolition of Manchester United on Saturday.

"If we could avoid Arsenal all the way, including the final, that would be great," he said.

But he was delighted to be through to the sixth round after goals in the second half from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and substitute Jesper Gronkjaer beat a spirited Stoke side. …
